Acoustic Evidence

As SVP of Forensic Services at SoundThinking, I talked a lot about the value of acoustic evidence. It also gave me the pleasure of interacting with Dr. Rob Maher, who is as much a gentleman as he is an accomplished scholar.

This article from The New York Times about the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting provides an excellent example of how acoustic and video evidence can be combined to provide a compelling account of a split-second incident, and it includes input from Dr. Maher. Really interesting.
